Featuring world-renowned speakers from Europe, the United States, Japan and Singapore, this one and a half day conference themed Future Mobility, is co-organised by the Singapore Road Safety Council (SRSC) and BMW Group Asia. Dr Cosmas Asam, Vice President, Strategy, BMW AG, Mr Eric Noble, Founder, The CarLab, Professor Tobias Wallisser, Founder, LAVA, David Ward, Secretary-General of Global NCAP and Vivek Vaidya, Vice President Asia Pacific, Frost and Sullivan and more are slated to speak at the conference.

“AA Singapore will always strive to bring the latest updates and trends in the automotive industry to our members and partners. We have done so over the years through various channels such as forums and our in-house publication, Highway. This conference is a natural extension,” said Mr Bernard Tay, President, AA Singapore. Mr Bernard Tay is also the Chairman of SRSC.

“We are excited to have these speakers who are established industry practitioners and thinkers joining us in this inaugural Asia Pacific Conference. Mobility and Road Safety are two topics very close to both AA’s and SRSC’s hearts and I am sure that the delegates to the conference will gain much from the insights and knowledge sharing from the speakers,” continued Mr Tay.

“It is a pleasure to be partnering AA Singapore on this occasion and we find the Future Mobility theme to be most intriguing. The world we know today is changing in terms of rapid urbanisation and global warming. In order for our next generation to enjoy a future that is clean, green and sustainable, we need to adopt a more proactive stance towards shaping what mobility of the future should be. Through this conference, we have created a platform for various experts to share insights and invaluable knowledge on the topic so that we can come up with the best solution. Because the best way to predict the future, is to shape it,” said Mr Axel Pannes, Managing Director, BMW Group Asia.

The speakers will be sharing their insights and experiences, touching on new approaches to mobility, urban city design for new mobility, future of cars, trends that impact mobility, road safety, smart mobility and automotive batteries.
