About the event

In light of the road accidents abroad involving Singaporean drivers, AA Singapore is inviting you to attend the Overseas Safe Driving Forum 2025 themed “Driving Safely for Journeys Around the World”.

With the growing need to equip drivers with essential skills to navigate diverse driving scenarios and environments in foreign countries safely, this forum will provide you with practical resources from local and overseas road safety experts to help you feel confident and safe while driving abroad.

As there’s an expanding interest in international driving among senior drivers, this year’s forum will also provide advice to ensure your safety, independence, and contribute to the well-being of other road users.

Take this unique opportunity for drivers to gain knowledge and companies to network with alongside road safety experts, automotive manufacturers, and key industry stakeholders.

In conjunction with the SG60, we organised Overseas Safe Driving Forum 2025 to educate Singapore residents on driving safely, mitigate risk, and enhancing driver competency, when driving overseas.

As a strong advocate of road safety, we have been partnering the authorities to promote safe driving through various campaigns such as organising safe driving forums for our members and the public.

In recent months, there have been several reports of road fatalities involving Singapore Residents driving overseas. AA Singapore recognises the need to create better awareness among our members and the public and equip them with the knowledge needed for both local and overseas driving.

We will be covering topics about safe and sustainable overseas driving. The event will feature insights from leading industry experts, clubs, and countries popular with Singapore drivers, such as FIA Foundation, Real Automóvil Club de España, Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research (MIROS), and other international road safety and sustainability bodies.
Participants can expect discussions on best practices, regulatory updates, driving norms across regions, environmental considerations, and practical tips for cross-border travel.

They include local and overseas panel of road safety and safe driving experts, who will share on best practices, knowledge, and tips for overseas driving.
